Maryland International School for Sustainability & Technology is proud to have a continuously growing selection of different activities that take place outside of the classroom. Check out the different options below and reach out with questions today.



Community Service
Every Friday our students in our after school program will meet to plan and implement community service projects. It is called BIOS4 or Bridging the Inequities in our Society Through Scholarship, Service, and Stewardship. These are our 3 Pillars of BEACON House, Inc.
Science Club
Every Monday students enrolled in our after school program will be a part of our Science Club. We will explore various fields/areas of the life and physical sciences each week.
Technology/Robotics Club
Each Tuesday in our after school program students will learn how to build, code, and engage with robots from Code & Go Mice, Botley, Osmo, Ozobots, Sphero Robots, Drones, Vex Robots, Lego Robots, Microbits, Cublets, and more.



Art Club
Every Wednesday Students in our after school program will have an opportunity to expand their art skills.
Destination Imagination
Also on Wednesday's students in our after school program will have the opportunity to explore and be a part of a Destination Imagination team to develop problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity skills.
Student Government
Every Thursday students will get an opportunity in our after school program to learn and legislate. Our school will have a students court and students during this government session will learn about laws and maintaining order to apply this to the creation of the student code of conduct and discipline process of the school.

Spanish Club
Every Thursday as well, students in our after school program will have the opportunity to expand their Spanish language skills and cultural knowledge through the Spanish Club.
